Working with St. Paul, MN businesses

St. Paul is the capital. Minneapolis gets the attention. Your website can fix that.

The smaller twin runs the state government, hosts Ecolab and Securian, and has the country's largest urban Hmong community — a business mix its websites rarely reflect.

What makes St. Paul different.

St. Paul is Minnesota's capital and the Ramsey County seat, and the State Capitol still overlooks a bend in the Mississippi from its hill beside downtown. Ecolab and Securian Financial are headquartered here; 3M manufactured in the city from 1910 to 2009 and keeps its headquarters next door in Maplewood. Hmong Americans make up about 11% of the population, and by 2000 St. Paul had the largest urban Hmong population in the nation. Downtown is laced with about five miles of enclosed skyway, which says something about January. Census estimates show the population dipped 1.3% from 2020 to 2024, so growth here comes from winning customers, not waiting for new ones.

What we see in this market

  • Insurance, finance, and corporate services around Securian, Ecolab, and the professional firms that serve them.
  • Vendors, consultants, and nonprofits doing business with state agencies at the Capitol.
  • Hmong-owned and immigrant-owned businesses, neighborhood restaurants, and trades on University Avenue and beyond.

Businesses online

No one publishes a count of St. Paul businesses with websites. The best figure is national: in Clutch's 2025 survey, 83% of US small businesses said they had a website — so roughly one in six still does not.

Work, not promises

Something we actually built.

Interim Controller & CFO Partners

Interim Controller & CFO Partners

A full-stack site we built for a firm that provides interim controllers and CFOs — professional services written for a careful, numbers-first reader.

A finance-leadership firm for owners whose books have stopped telling the truth — built to send a worried visitor to the right seat, interim or fractional, before anyone picks up the phone.

The part we didn’t write

Clients say it better than we do.

What clients say — in their words

“Casey, the owner and developer, took the project and ran with it 100%. I gave him specific direction and he went well above the call of duty. Five star service all the way!”
“Wow! Casey rocked! The process was so easy, I told Casey what I wanted and he built it. My go-to with my online business, which has grown exponentially since working together.”
“First class all the way! From the prompt communication, being available seven days a week, to the nuts and bolts of getting our project completed on time and on budget — I highly recommend!”
“Simply amazing! They took our outdated website and transformed it into a modern, user-friendly platform that truly represents our brand.”
“They get it done. We had no idea where to start; they explained the build process and were patient with our many questions. All expectations and timelines were met. Double thumbs up!”
“Instrumental in driving our company growth through expert management of our Google and Microsoft Ads.”
“They helped us turn a loose idea into a working digital product — asked sharp questions, found the hidden workflow problems, and built a system our staff could use without a long training curve.”
“What stood out was the balance of design and operations. The site looked polished, but the real win was behind the scenes: better forms, cleaner handoffs, stronger tracking, fewer manual steps.”
“They made the technical side feel clear. We talked about goals first — then platforms, content, search, and automation.”

Questions we hear a lot.

Many of our customers are Hmong families. Should the site be in Hmong?

If a real share of your customers prefer it, a translated set of core pages — services, hours, booking, contact — is worth doing, and doing properly with a fluent translator. A machine-translated widget is not a substitute, and customers can tell.

Winter changes our business completely. How should the site handle it?

Seasonal pages and a homepage you can change yourself. Furnace and snow work lead in winter, exterior and landscaping in summer, and every package includes content management so the switch is yours to make the week it matters.

We work with state agencies. Does accessibility matter?

Public-sector buyers often expect accessibility conformance, and it is good practice regardless. We build to current accessibility guidelines from the start rather than retrofitting, which is cheaper and works better.
