Service

Google Ads management that starts by deciding what not to buy.

Google charges by the click and has no opinion on whether the click was any good. That opinion is what you hire us for. We pick the searches worth paying for, count the calls they produce, and send each visitor somewhere that can answer.

You are buying searches, one at a time.

A Google Ads account is a long list of small purchases. Someone types "water heater leaking Chandler" and you pay for the visit. Someone else types "how to fix a water heater" and, if the settings are loose, you pay for that too, and you have sponsored his weekend.

The search terms report shows the searches that triggered your ads, minus some low-volume ones Google leaves out, so we read it before anything else. Job seekers, do-it-yourselfers, towns you don't serve and services you don't sell all go on a negative list, which keeps the ad out of those searches. It is dull work. We'd expect it to do more for you than any clever headline.

What stays gets the budget: searches with a problem and a place in them. Timing counts as well. A Valley plumber has a season, and the weeks before monsoon are one place we would look first.

The click you paid for still has to land somewhere.

The easy place to send a paid click is the homepage, and our read is that too many accounts do. Here is what a homepage looks like around here. In our Phoenix-area sample of 487 business sites, the median homepage took 6.5 seconds to show its main content on a simulated phone, and 367 of 472 took longer than 4 seconds.

On 49% of those homepages, a phone link was the only way in. Only 31% had a form of any kind, and we counted newsletter sign-ups. You pay for the visit either way, so we look at the page before we raise the budget. If the page is the trouble, one built for the search comes first. The free website health check gives you a first look at your own.

Count the calls, then the jobs.

Google will gladly report clicks, impressions and a click-through rate. None of them has ever paid a technician. We set up conversion tracking for calls from the ad, calls from the website and form submissions, then test each one by hand so a lead gets counted once. That wiring is the same work as our conversion tracking service.

Booked jobs are harder, since they live in your office and not in Google. Where your systems allow it, we bring them back into the account so the budget can follow the work. A shop on ServiceTitan can go further with lead source attribution. Bleuwave HVAC sends every lead into a custom tracker wired to Google Tag Manager, the kind of record we'd want before judging any campaign.

Ads stop when the money stops.

That is the deal, and it has its uses. Ads can run as soon as Google approves them, and you can shut them off on a slow week. SEO runs the other way: slow to start, with no bill per visitor. Nobody honest promises you a result from either one.

We'd use ads to learn which searches produce work, then use that to decide which pages to write. Once Google is tracked and behaving, Bing Ads is the next test we'd run, on a smaller budget.

What it costs, and who holds the keys.

Our fee starts from $575 a month, and complexity, setup and budget decide the rest. That covers the campaign build, keywords, negative lists and weekly tuning. Your ad spend goes to Google directly and never passes through us. Our other published prices are on the pricing page.

The account and the billing stay in your business's name. We come in as a user, at the access level the work needs, and we never ask for your password. If you fire us, the account, the history and the negative lists stay with you. If someone else runs yours today and you'd like a second opinion first, that is a Google Ads audit.

How it works

How we run an account, week to week.

01

Read what's there

If you have an account, we read the search terms, settings and tracking before touching anything. New accounts start with your services, your area and what a good job is worth.

02

Fix the counting

Calls, forms and bookings get tracked and tested by hand before any budget goes up. A number that lies makes every later decision worse.

03

Build around the search

Campaigns split by what the customer needs: emergency repair, replacement, maintenance. Each one gets its own ads, its own negatives and a page that matches.

04

Tune it every week

We read the new search terms, cut what wastes money and move budget toward what produces calls. You get the numbers in plain English.

Instrumental in driving our company growth through expert management of our Google and Microsoft Ads.

What stood out was the balance of design and operations.

The site looked polished, but the real win was behind the scenes: better forms, cleaner handoffs, stronger tracking, fewer manual steps.

Google Ads: questions we hear a lot.

What budget should I start with?

We won't name a figure until we've seen your market and what a job is worth to you, and we won't quote a cost per click from memory. The budget has to buy enough clicks to tell a good search from a bad one. Spend is paid to Google. Our fee starts from $575 a month, depending on complexity, setup and budget. The ROI calculator lets you run your own arithmetic first.

How soon will the phone ring?

Ads can show as soon as Google approves them. Whether they produce work is a separate question, and the early weeks are how we find out. Anyone who promises a call count before seeing your account is selling you the promise.

Can you guarantee the top spot?

No. Position is settled in an auction that runs when someone searches, against bidders neither of us controls. What we can do is keep you out of the auctions you shouldn't be in.

Do I own the account?

Yes. It sits in your business's name with your card on it, and you invite us as a user. No password changes hands. When we part ways, everything in the account stays where it is.

Can my ads just point at my homepage?

They can, and we'd advise against it. A homepage talks to everybody, and an ad click came from one person with one problem. A landing page answers that problem on the first screen. If the leak is in the form itself, start with the form fix.

Should I run Google Ads or Local Services Ads?

They are different products. Ordinary Google search campaigns charge per click on keywords you choose. Local Services Ads charge for leads, and Google says they're open only to certain service categories, with availability depending on your area. We'd compare them on your tracked numbers, not on anyone's opinion, ours included. Either way it helps to have your Google Business Profile in order.

What kind of business fits Google Ads?

Ones people search for when they already know the problem. HVAC, plumbing and roofing are the plain cases. If nobody knows they want you until they see the work, social ads may suit you better.

Show us what you sell and where.

Tell us your best jobs and your service area. We'll say which searches we would buy, which we wouldn't, and what the management costs.
