Google Ads Landing Page Design
One search, one page, one next step. Landing pages built to turn a paid click into a phone call.
Stop paying for clicks that land on your homepage.
The complaint usually arrives in one sentence: "We're getting clicks, but the phone isn't ringing." More often than not, in our experience, the clicks are landing on the homepage. The homepage was built for everybody, which means it was built for nobody in particular.
Picture the man who searched "AC blowing warm air Gilbert" at 4 p.m. in July. He taps your ad and gets a slideshow, the company history, a menu with nine items, and a phone number in the footer. He came for one answer: can you fix this today, and how do I reach you? He doesn't dig for it. He hits back and taps the next ad, and you've paid for a visit that lasted four seconds.
Google grades this part, too. One of the three parts of Quality Score is landing page experience, which Google defines as how relevant and useful your landing page is to people who click your ad. Google says plainly that Quality Score itself is not an input in the ad auction. The thing it measures is still real: a page that doesn't match the search wastes the click you just bought.
A landing page fixes this by being single-minded. One search intent, one promise, one next step, and nothing on the page that doesn't serve them.
What you actually get
A page for each intent, not each keyword. Emergency repair, system replacement, and a seasonal tune-up are three different buyers in three different moods. Each gets its own page, written to match the ad group that sends it traffic. The headline repeats what the person searched for, so they know at a glance they landed in the right place.
The next step where the thumb already is. A tap-to-call number at the top, a short form that asks only what the office needs to call back, and online booking if your schedule allows it. Every website package already includes lead form capture and online booking, and the same parts go into landing pages.
Proof where the doubt lives. Real reviews, license numbers, photos of your own trucks and crews, financing terms if you offer them. Stock photos of grinning models in hard hats persuade nobody.
Speed you can measure. Google's Core Web Vitals say the main content should appear within 2.5 seconds, and the page should respond to a tap in 200 milliseconds or less. We build to those numbers by hand, with no page builder underneath and nothing loading that the page doesn't need.
Tracking that counts calls, not just clicks. Google Ads can record calls from your ads, calls to the number on your website, and form submissions as conversions. We wire those up so the account learns from the leads that matter. That is the same work as our conversion tracking service, done as part of the build.
Pages that pass review. Google disapproves ads whose destinations don't work, can't be crawled, or are unnecessarily difficult to navigate, among other reasons. We check each page against those requirements before launch, so a campaign doesn't stall on a technicality.
Fewer exits. A landing page doesn't need the full site menu, the blog, and links to your social media. Each one is a door out. We keep the logo, the license, the privacy policy, and the one action that matters, and leave the rest of the site a click away for anyone who goes looking.
One page per city? Usually not.
The common shortcut is fifty copies of one page with the city name swapped. It's cheap to make and easy to spot. Google's destination rules list copied content with no added value among the reasons a destination can be disapproved, and customers notice the sameness too.
In our experience, a better structure is a handful of strong pages organized by what the customer needs, with service-area details that are true for each place you actually work. Where a city really deserves its own page, because the housing stock, permits, or the weather problem differs, it gets one written for that city. You can see that logic in our guide to how many service-area pages a contractor needs.
How the work runs
It starts with the ads, not the design. You add us to your Google Ads account at the read-only level, which Google's access levels allow without ever sharing a password. We read the campaigns, the ad groups, and the actual searches your money has been buying. Then we decide which pages to build and which promise each one makes.
The rule we build by is message match. If the ad says "Same-Day Water Heater Replacement, Upfront Pricing," the page's first screen says the same thing in the same words, and shows how to get it. A customer should never have to wonder whether they clicked the right ad.
Next comes copy, written by the developer who builds the page, from a short call with you about your offer, your service area, and what a good job looks like. Then the build, the tracking, and a round of test calls and test form fills to confirm every lead reaches you. Most of our builds go live in 7 to 10 days, and work starts within 24 hours of the go-ahead.
After launch, we watch which pages turn clicks into calls. If you want structured testing after that, it continues under conversion rate optimization. If the campaigns need a hand of their own, that's Google Ads management.
What it costs
Landing pages added to your existing site fall under our web app, portal and integration work, which starts from $575***. The final number depends on how many pages you need, whether they carry an estimate tool or a booking flow, and what they connect to. You get a flat quote before any work starts.
If the real problem is the whole website, a package is usually the better buy: up to 10 pages for $1,500, 11 to 20 for $2,250, 21 to 50 for $3,750, and 51 to 70 for $5,750. Every package includes SEO, design, content writing, content management, lead forms, online booking, one custom third-party API integration, and a year of support. Prices are on the pricing page, and you can pay a 25% deposit or the full amount online.
Your ad spend is paid to Google directly, never through us. ***Pricing depends on complexity.
Who this isn't for
If you aren't running ads and don't plan to, you need a website and search engine optimization, not a landing page.
If the account itself is the leak, a better page won't plug it. A campaign spending on job seekers and do-it-yourselfers needs fixing at the source, which is what a Google Ads audit is for. We'll tell you if that's the case before we quote a page.
If you want a page that promises "#1" or "guaranteed" anything, we're the wrong shop. And a landing page sharpens an offer. It can't invent one. If your price, response time, or warranty loses on the merits, the page will only lose faster.
Where you can see the work
For American Roofing & Waterproofing, we built ten dedicated landing pages across the Phoenix and Flagstaff markets, such as monsoon roof prep. We also built an instant estimate tool that books a 21-point inspection, and a router that sends residential, commercial, and multifamily leads down separate paths.
For the Bleuwave parent brand, we built campaign landing pages for HVAC installation, 0% financing on new systems, roofline lighting, and custom iron entry doors, plus a branded flow for collecting Google reviews.
Most of this work is for the trades. See how we approach HVAC, roofing, and plumbing. For timing, read why plumbers should run ads before monsoon season. For the details of the page itself, read what a Google Ads landing page that converts looks like.

What clients say — in their words
“Casey, the owner and developer, took the project and ran with it 100%. I gave him specific direction and he went well above the call of duty. Five star service all the way!”
“Wow! Casey rocked! The process was so easy, I told Casey what I wanted and he built it. My go-to with my online business, which has grown exponentially since working together.”
“First class all the way! From the prompt communication, being available seven days a week, to the nuts and bolts of getting our project completed on time and on budget — I highly recommend!”
“Simply amazing! They took our outdated website and transformed it into a modern, user-friendly platform that truly represents our brand.”
“They get it done. We had no idea where to start; they explained the build process and were patient with our many questions. All expectations and timelines were met. Double thumbs up!”
“Instrumental in driving our company growth through expert management of our Google and Microsoft Ads.”
“They helped us turn a loose idea into a working digital product — asked sharp questions, found the hidden workflow problems, and built a system our staff could use without a long training curve.”
“What stood out was the balance of design and operations. The site looked polished, but the real win was behind the scenes: better forms, cleaner handoffs, stronger tracking, fewer manual steps.”
“They made the technical side feel clear. We talked about goals first — then platforms, content, search, and automation.”
Pair it with the rest.

Google Ads Landing Page Design: questions we hear a lot.
Why not just send ad traffic to my homepage?
Because the homepage is built for everyone, and an ad click comes from someone with one specific need. They searched for emergency AC repair, so they should land on a page about emergency AC repair with a phone number on top. Google also rates landing page experience as part of Quality Score, so relevance matters to Google as well as the customer.
How much does a Google Ads landing page cost?
Landing pages added to an existing site fall under our application and integration work, which starts from $575, depending on how many pages you need and whether they include booking or an estimate tool. If the whole site needs replacing, website packages start at $1,500 for up to 10 pages. Ad spend is always paid to Google directly.
How many landing pages do I need?
Usually one per distinct customer intent, not one per keyword or city. Emergency repair, replacement, and maintenance are different buyers and deserve different pages. We decide the number by reading your campaigns and search terms, and we avoid near-identical city copies, which add little value for customers or Google.
Do you need access to my Google Ads account?
Read-only access helps, because it lets us match pages to your actual ad groups and searches. You invite us as a user from inside Google Ads, and you never share your password. If you'd rather not grant access, we can work from exports and screenshots instead.
Will the landing pages track phone calls?
Yes. We set up conversion tracking for calls from the page, form submissions, and bookings, and send them to Google Ads so the account can learn from real leads. Then we test every path with real calls and form fills before launch to make sure each conversion is counted once.
Send us the ad. We'll build the page it deserves.
Tell us which campaigns are running and what a booked job is worth to you. You'll get a page plan and a flat quote before any work starts.
