Every repair shop has a favorite platform and a shrug for the rest. This bench reads them all — WordPress and its builders, WooCommerce, Shopify, Squarespace, and the hand-coded PHP sites everyone else refuses to open.
Fluency, not favoritism.
Platform religion is a shop problem, not a customer one. Your site is on whatever it's on — chosen years ago, for reasons that made sense then — and it deserves a mechanic fluent in that dialect rather than a missionary for a different one. Since 1999 this bench has read them all: WordPress in every configuration, WooCommerce, Shopify and its Liquid templates, Squarespace's walled garden, and the hand-coded PHP sites that predate the platforms entirely.
Fluency changes the diagnosis: Shopify problems are usually app-stack and theme-version problems; Squarespace's are configuration and injection-code; hand-coded sites fail at the PHP-version cliff. Knowing each platform's native failure modes is the difference between an afternoon and a billing cycle.
Where each platform's bodies are buried.
WordPress fails at its joints — plugins, themes, updates. Shopify fails politely: checkout is Shopify's problem (good), but the theme customizations, app conflicts, and visibility issues are yours. Squarespace rarely 'breaks' but frequently misbehaves — forms silently failing, custom code injections souring after platform updates, domains and DNS tangles. Hand-coded sites are honest: they do exactly what their code says, until the server underneath them changes.

Do you really repair Squarespace and Shopify, or just WordPress?
Really — the portfolio has commerce and platform work across the spectrum, and the repair bench matches it. What differs by platform is what's repairable: Shopify and Squarespace fence off their cores, so the work lives in themes, apps, injections, and configuration — which is where their problems live anyway.
My site is hand-coded and its developer retired. Am I stuck?
You're in our oldest lane. Hand-coded PHP is where this shop started, and inherited codebases are a normal Tuesday: we read the code, document what we find, fix the fault, and leave it more maintainable than we met it.
Will you tell me to migrate to your preferred platform?
Only if your platform genuinely can't do what your business needs — and then with arithmetic, not evangelism. Most 'you need to migrate' advice in this industry is the shop's convenience dressed as your necessity. Repair first is the default here.
What does cross-platform repair cost?
