API development
How Much Does a Custom ServiceTitan API Integration Cost?
It depends, but on a short list of things you can mostly see in advance. Here they are, along with the prices we publish and the ones we won't guess at.
The prices we publish
Web apps, portals and integrations start from $575, priced by complexity. Every website package includes one custom third-party API integration: $1,500 for up to 10 pages, $2,250 for 11 to 20, $3,750 for 21 to 50 and $5,750 for 51 to 70. Projects can be paid with 0% financing with 25% down.
Beyond that, a ServiceTitan integration is quoted after scoping, in writing, as a fixed price. We don't publish a price list for specific ServiceTitan projects, because two requests with the same name can be very different jobs. "Connect our website form" can mean one form sending a booking, or five forms with campaign mapping, duplicate checks and a fallback queue.
What we don't price: your ServiceTitan subscription and any terms or fees for API access are between you and ServiceTitan. Ask them directly about what your account includes.
What drives the cost
These are the questions that move a quote up or down. Most can be answered in a 30-minute conversation.
Scope of the outcome
One screen for one role costs less than a tool used by four departments. The clearer the outcome, the tighter the quote.
Number of resources
Each ServiceTitan resource involved, such as jobs, estimates, invoices or technicians, adds mapping, testing and edge cases.
Read-only or write
Reading is simpler and safer. Writing back to ServiceTitan adds validation, error recovery and more testing, and it needs broader approval from your admin.
Sync frequency and freshness
Daily is simpler than every few minutes. Storage and refresh also have to fit ServiceTitan's API Terms, explained on customer and job data sync.
Other systems
Each additional system, such as accounting, an ad platform or a website, brings its own API, credentials and failure modes.
Interface complexity
A single sortable list is quick. Roles, filters, mobile layouts and editing screens take longer.
Environments and testing
Setup in the integration environment, test scenarios with your team, and the production cutover. Access setup is described in ServiceTitan API authentication.
Hosting, maintenance and support
Where the integration runs, how it's monitored, and how changes to ServiceTitan's APIs or your process are handled after launch.
Three project shapes
Illustrations of scale, not packages. Your project will be quoted on its own scope.
Small
One direction, one or two resources, read-only or a single kind of write. For example, a website form that sends a booking to ServiceTitan, or a nightly summary of completed jobs. A project this size may fit inside the one integration a website package includes.
Medium
An internal tool or dashboard reading several resources on a schedule, with its own logins and a few roles. For example, an estimate recovery board like the ones on custom ServiceTitan applications.
Large
Several resources, writes back to ServiceTitan, more than one outside system or ServiceTitan account, and several user roles. For example, multi-branch reporting joined with ad spend and accounting.
Cost shape: existing options vs custom
Not a price comparison, just how each kind of cost behaves.
| Need | In ServiceTitan | Custom-built |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront | Configuration time, or setup for an add-on or marketplace app. | A one-time build, quoted in writing before work starts. |
| Ongoing | Whatever ServiceTitan or the app vendor charges, set by them. | Hosting and the support arrangement you choose. |
| Fit | Built for many companies; you adapt to it. | Built for yours; it adapts to you, and you own the code. |
What support after launch covers
An integration keeps working because someone watches it. These are the usual reasons it needs attention, and they belong in the budget conversation.
Monitoring
Alerts when a sync fails, credentials stop working or the numbers stop reconciling, so the problem is found before the office notices.
ServiceTitan API changes
ServiceTitan updates its APIs over time. Changes that affect your integration are tested in the integration environment before production.
New permissions
Adding a feature that needs a new scope creates a new app version your admin must approve. Planning those changes together avoids surprise downtime.
Report and process changes
If the integration reads a ServiceTitan report, its owner can change columns. If your business units or job types change, mappings change with them.
How a quote is put together
- 1
A short call
What problem, who has it, which records, and what other systems are involved.
- 2
A check on access
Whether your account can grant what the project needs. ServiceTitan asks customers to check with its integrations team before engaging a developer, and we encourage it.
- 3
A written scope
What will be built, what it reads and writes, how it's tested, and what's not included.
- 4
A fixed price
One number for the build, with hosting and support listed separately, and financing available.
What to have ready before we talk
None of this is required for a first call, but each answer makes the scope and the quote sharper.
- The outcome you want and who it's for
- The ServiceTitan records involved, and whether anything is written back
- How fresh the data needs to be
- Other systems that must be connected
- Where you'd like it hosted and what support you expect after launch
- Whether a website project is planned that could include the integration

Integration cost: questions we hear a lot.
What's the starting price for a ServiceTitan integration?
Web apps, portals and integrations start from $575 and are priced by complexity. Every website package also includes one custom third-party API integration.
Does your price include ServiceTitan's fees?
No. Your ServiceTitan subscription and any terms or fees for API access are between you and ServiceTitan. We quote only our own work, hosting and support.
Why don't you publish a price for each kind of ServiceTitan project?
Because the same request can be a small job or a large one depending on resources, writes, sync frequency and other systems. A written, fixed quote after a short scoping call is more honest than a range that fits nobody.
Can we finance the project?
Yes. Projects can be paid with 0% financing with 25% down.
What ongoing costs should we expect?
Hosting for the integration and whatever support arrangement you choose. APIs and business processes change, so we discuss maintenance before the build rather than after.
