ServiceTitan Website & Lead Generation Integrations
Your website has more than one door: a contact form, a booking button, maybe an estimate tool, a phone number and an after-hours line. Each one should hand the customer to ServiceTitan the same way, with the source attached and nothing retyped.

Count the doors before you connect them.
Walk through a typical contractor website the way a customer would and count how many ways there are to ask for service. The contact form. The "Book online" button. The financing page with its own short form. The estimate calculator someone added last spring. The phone number in the header, which may or may not be a tracking number. Each of those usually lands somewhere different: one inbox, a second inbox, a vendor's dashboard, a voicemail box.
The office then stitches it all together by hand in ServiceTitan. It works on a slow Tuesday. On the first hot Monday in June, with the phones lit up, the web leads wait, the campaign gets set to whatever the CSR remembers, and the marketing report ends up crediting "Website" for work that Google Ads actually paid for.
This section covers each door separately, because each one has its own decisions: what the customer is asked, what lands in ServiceTitan, how the source is kept, and what happens when something fails. The pages below go deep on one flow at a time.
Six ways a website connects to ServiceTitan
Most companies need two or three of these, not all six. Each has its own page with the details and limits.
Contact and service-request forms
The simplest connection and usually the most valuable: the right fields mapped to the right places, spam filtered out, duplicates caught, and a fallback if ServiceTitan can't be reached. Contact form integration.
Online booking
From "request a preferred window" to confirmed appointments, and when ServiceTitan's own Scheduling Pro is the better buy. Online booking integration.
Instant estimate tools
A price range on the website, with every answer the customer gave delivered to the CSR along with the request. Instant estimate tools.
Lead source attribution
Ad click IDs, UTM tags and landing pages captured on the website and carried into ServiceTitan's campaigns, so the right channel gets the credit. Lead source attribution.
Customer portals
A signed-in page where a customer sees their own appointments, project status and documents, for needs ServiceTitan's own portal doesn't cover. Customer portals.
After-hours phone intake
If an AI receptionist answers at night, what it collects can arrive as a booking request the same way a form does, so the morning starts with a list instead of voicemails.
What the website should create in ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan's API can create several kinds of records. Which one a website creates is the most important decision in the project.
A booking (our default)
ServiceTitan's help center describes online bookings sent in by an integration under a booking provider tag. They show up under Bookings, where a CSR books them as a job or dismisses them. A booking can carry contact details, the address, a summary, the campaign, a business unit, a job type and uploaded images. A person still confirms before a truck rolls.
A lead
For inquiries that aren't ready to book, such as a homeowner researching a system replacement six months out, the API can also create leads. They suit a sales follow-up process better than the dispatch queue.
A job and appointment
With write permissions, the API can create jobs and appointments directly. That requires a customer, location, business unit, job type, priority, campaign and appointment to be correct with no human check, so we reserve it for narrow, well-tested cases and never make it the default for a public website.
ServiceTitan's own tools, and when custom work fits
Check what your account already includes before paying for something custom. Sometimes the native product is the right answer.
| Need | In ServiceTitan | Custom-built |
|---|---|---|
| Online booking | Scheduling Pro, ServiceTitan's paid add-on, is ServiceTitan's own online booking product and supports Reserve with Google. | Booking built into your own forms, estimate tool or multi-step flow, usually as a request the office confirms. |
| Campaign attribution | Scheduling Pro assigns campaigns from UTM and campaign parameters on bookings it takes. | The same source data captured across your whole site and attached to every form, estimate and booking request. |
| Customer self-service | ServiceTitan's New Customer Portal for paying invoices, accepting estimates and viewing jobs. | A portal for things it doesn't cover, such as multi-phase project status or a property manager's many addresses. |
| Forms and questions | Whatever your account's products provide, configured inside ServiceTitan. | Your own forms, your own questions per trade, designed to match your site and your office's callback script. |
Where to start
For most companies the order is the same. First, the contact form and any existing request forms go into ServiceTitan as bookings, with source attribution captured properly from day one. That alone ends the retyping and fixes the campaign data that every later report depends on. Second, whichever lead tool your market responds to: online booking for repair-heavy shops, an estimate tool for replacement and roofing work. Portals come last, once the lead flow is solid.
Every connection runs on access your ServiceTitan admin approves, with only the permissions it needs: a form that creates bookings has no reason to read invoices. Credentials stay on the server. Testing happens in ServiceTitan's integration environment where your account has one. The mechanics are on the API authentication and setup page.
Once leads arrive with clean sources, the reporting side gets useful. The marketing ROI dashboard and lead-to-booked-job analytics pages cover what you can measure once the data is right. Pricing follows the published rates: integrations start from $575, priced by complexity, and every website package includes one custom third-party API integration.

Website & leads: questions we hear a lot.
Can our website send leads straight into ServiceTitan?
Yes, once your ServiceTitan admin connects the integration and approves its permissions. Our default is to send each request in as a booking that a CSR books or dismisses, with the customer's details, the summary and the campaign attached.
Why a booking instead of creating the job directly?
A job needs the customer, location, business unit, job type, priority, campaign and appointment all correct with nobody checking. A booking keeps a person in the loop for the few seconds it takes to confirm, which catches the wrong address or the emergency that should have been a phone call.
Should we buy Scheduling Pro instead of a custom integration?
If what you want is customers picking appointment times online, Scheduling Pro is ServiceTitan's own product for that and worth pricing first. Custom work fits when the booking is part of your own forms, estimate tool or multi-step flow.
How is this different from your ServiceTitan website integration page?
That page describes the core service: getting website leads and bookings into ServiceTitan, how access is approved and what it costs. The pages in this section go deeper on each individual flow, such as forms, booking, estimate tools, attribution and portals.
