Home Services web design agency

One name on the trucks. Several businesses underneath.

A burst pipe and a someday ceiling fan shouldn't land on the same desk. We build multi-trade sites that sort each request by trade, urgency and town, and keep the numbers apart so you can see which trade's marketing pays.

From our Phoenix-area website tests. A small group can swing on a few sites.

Your homepage is a dispatcher before it's a brochure.

A one-trade company has one kind of customer at a time. You have several, and they all land on one homepage. One has water on the floor. One is pricing a panel upgrade. One has a list of small jobs and all of next month. The homepage's first duty is to find out which, then get out of the way. If you run a single trade, the plumbing or electrical page will suit you better.

Across the home-service sites we tested, 91% have a phone link on the homepage and 43% offer that link and no form or booking. The group mixes one-trade shops with multi-trade companies, so it isn't a portrait of you. Our read is that a lone phone number costs a multi-trade company the most, because every call starts with sorting. Tracked numbers by trade can put each call in its own queue. After hours, an AI receptionist can answer and sort by trade before anyone on your team wakes up.

We've built this shape. Bleuwave's parent hub ties HVAC, plumbing and electrical into one identity, above dedicated sites for HVAC, plumbing and electrical. Each trade's site has its own job to do: an instant-estimate tool on one, a free written-quote estimator on another, charger-brand pages on the third.

What we build against

  • A Services menu long enough to need its own map.
  • An emergency and a quote request reaching one inbox at one priority.
  • A single marketing budget and no way to tell which trade it fed.
  • A service map implying every crew reaches every town.
  • Each trade up against specialists who do that one thing all day.

Inside a home services website

Sort by trade first. Pick the colors later.

The structure is a hub with spokes. The homepage routes. Each trade gets a section with its own services, reviews and emergency line. Anything shared, such as a maintenance plan, financing or the company story, gets written once and sits above the trades. Navigation, phone numbers and the booking form all follow that order.

Sometimes a spoke deserves its own domain. More domains mean more to buy and more to maintain. One domain keeps your reputation at one address. Separate sites give a trade room to go head to head with specialists under its own search terms. We've built the second shape, and we'll tell you on the call if you don't need it.

Then there's the plumbing behind the plumbing. If you run ServiceTitan, the site can hand requests to it for your office to confirm: online booking, lead source attribution and a marketing ROI dashboard that splits the numbers. Every website package includes one custom third-party API integration, and anything past that is quoted in writing.

The pages a multi-trade site needs

  • Trade hubs

One per trade, listing its services with its emergency line on top.

  • Book a technician

Trade first, then the problem, then a window, so the request reaches the right dispatcher.

  • Whole-home maintenance plan

A table of visits per trade, member discounts and how to cancel. We'd expect benefits buried in a paragraph to go unread.

  • Service area by city and trade

Which trades cover which towns. If electrical stops at the river, say so before someone books.

  • Meet the technicians

Faces filed under the trade they work in. Mention background checks only if you run them.

  • Replacement financing

Your lender, the term overview and the application link, in wording your lender and counsel approve. Water heaters, panels and air handlers land in the same conversation.

Features a one-trade shop can't easily copy

  • Combined-visit requests

A plumber and an electrician on one trip, from one form. A one-trade specialist can't easily offer it, so make it bookable. Online booking comes with every package.

  • Reviews filed by trade

HVAC pages show HVAC reviews. For Bleuwave we built a branded review capture flow that gives customers one clear place to leave one.

  • Campaign pages for whichever trade is busy

Each trade peaks on its own clock, so the spotlight has to move. Bleuwave's summer HVAC page and its roofline lighting page run off one brand.

  • Job check-ins that become pages

We built Digital Yard Sign SEO, where a tech checks in from the driveway and the visit becomes a geo-tagged page. Several trades on the road means several crews in several neighborhoods.

  • Follow-up across trades

An estimate from one trade shouldn't die because the office was busy with another. Estimate follow-up keeps the list moving if you run ServiceTitan.

Where multi-trade sites trip

  • One review carousel for every trade, so a plumbing compliment has to sell an air handler.
  • The emergency line buried under the story of how the family got started.
  • One circle on a map for crews that don't share a territory.
  • Separate trade sites that never link to each other, which splits one reputation into strangers.

Why a multi-trade company would call us.

We've built the whole family

The Bleuwave hub and its HVAC, plumbing, electrical and handyman sites came through here. You won't be paying us to learn the shape.

The site and the back office, one call

Web pages, tracking and ServiceTitan work sit with the same developer, so nobody has to referee a handoff between two vendors.

We count by trade

We'd set tracking up per trade so you can see which line feeds which crew. We can't promise the answer will flatter your favorite trade.

What stood out was the balance of design and operations.

The site looked polished, but the real win was behind the scenes: better forms, cleaner handoffs, stronger tracking, fewer manual steps.

Instrumental in driving our company growth through expert management of our Google and Microsoft Ads.

Questions we hear a lot.

What does a multi-trade website cost?

Multi-trade sites eat pages, and pages set the price. Three trades with a handful of service pages each will likely land in the 21 to 50 tier at $3,750, and adding towns pushes toward 51 to 70 at $5,750. The smaller tiers are $1,500 for up to 10 pages and $2,250 for 11 to 20. Each carries the same list: SEO, design, content writing, content management, lead form capture, online booking, one custom third-party API integration and a year of support. Separate domains change the count, and the written quote will show how. See pricing.

One site or one per trade?

It depends how separate the crews really are. Start with who answers the phone and how each trade's search terms differ. A single site with strong trade sections is cheaper and simpler. An umbrella over dedicated sites, as with Bleuwave, gives each trade its own address. We'd tell you on the call which one fits.

How do requests reach the right crew?

The form asks trade, urgency and town up front, and the answers set where it goes. Calls can do the same with tracked numbers per trade. If your dispatch runs on software, the integration can carry those fields in, so nobody retypes them.

Can a customer book an emergency online?

In our opinion, no. Save the calendar for planned work. For emergencies the call button comes first, with a short note on what happens after hours. The form is the fallback, and it should say when to expect a call back.

Can you show which trade's marketing is paying?

We can set up the measurement: spend, calls and forms per trade, per channel, through conversion tracking. What the numbers say is up to your customers. Ongoing SEO and PPC start from $575 a month, depending on complexity, setup and budget, and ad spend goes to the platform directly.

How do we handle a tech who works in two trades?

Store the profile once and show it in both sections. Change the photo in one place and it changes everywhere, so the site never carries two versions of the same person. Content management comes with every package.

How fast can it go live?

Build starts within 24 hours of your go-ahead, and most sites go live in 7 to 10 days. If one trade's season is close, tell us and we can start with that trade's pages.

Send every call to the right truck.

Send a list of your trades and the towns each one really covers. Fifteen minutes on the phone gets you a written flat quote.
